At our recent Church Council it was discussed about the amount of noise and movement prior to the service beginning. We would respectfully ask that it be kept to a minimum until the end of the service or at coffee time.

Easter Flowers    We are looking for donations towards the Easter flowers if you are able to make a gift please give it to one of our flower ladies Ruth, Jane, Moira or Barbara.

The next Rose House Group will be Tuesday April 3rd 8pm at 131Cedar Avenue.

Love in a Box

Jane and Lisa are again collecting any second hand books, games or puzzles you may have, this is to help with the transport of the shoe boxes for 2018. Please let either of them have your books as soon as possible. They will collect if necessary.   Thank you.

We are creating a collage tree and need buttons! Does anyone have any buttons to spare, any shape or size. We need red, orange, blue, (light and dark) green, yellow, brown and white.    Thank you

Opportunities to help with our church community.  Please contact the stewards, John or Barbara if you would like to find out more about the following jobs that we need help with in our church:

 readers' rota    -    tea and coffee rota    -    Action for Children secretary post - Help for Monday evenings for Boy’s Brigade and Girls Association  -  Door & Hymn Book rota - Helpers at Cherry Garth services, held on 3rd Monday of the month from 3-4pm - Help to clean the church and schoolroom windows.  Circuit Stewards posts.  Church Stewards. - Help to clear the weeds from outside the church and parking area through the year - Ideas for favourite Bible verses, prayers or suitable short poems at the beginning of services as  we are introducing a new idea instead of our introit hymn. (Please give to Jane or Colin)   Someone to keep three brass vases clean.

   People who would like to be part of the ACTS community prayer link offering to pray in our own   homes for those who would like to be prayed for.

On Maundy Thursday March 29th at 7pm Tylers Green are hosting a bring and share supper and Holy Communion led by Rev Angela Singleton.  All are very welcome.

Friday 30th March:  Walk of Witness will start at 10am from Holmer Green Baptist Church and arrive at our Church for the Good Friday Service at 11am led by John Richey.

ONE CAN    Thank you to everybody who continue to fill our “One Can” boxes each week. The work of this charity is ongoing and are always in need of more, and we know they are grateful for the contributions we do make.

All We Can have sent a certificate of thanks and photo poster displaying the projects we have sponsored with our Christmas gift total of  £570.00.  (see display in crush hall)

One-to-one prayer course.  Holmer Green Baptist Church are running their final session course on one-to one prayer on 26 Mar.  All are welcome.  Please contact Mark Coventry ( or 01494 712479) for more information.

Tuesday 8th May - All welcome to attend an evening training on Jonah for June Bible month with High Wycombe Methodist Circuit at The Avenue Methodist Church, Rutland Avenue, Castlefield, HP12 3JQ at 7.30-9.30pm.  It will be led by Adam Sanders, Learning and Development Officer in the East Central Region. If you would like a lift Barbara has some space
